This utility will provide the latest firmware for your H
LaserJet printer. It requires the following:

• A copy of the HP LaserJet Full Software an
  Drivers must be installed on the computer used for th
  firmware update. This software may be found on the same hp.co
  driver download support page as the firmware download. Some of th
  files installed with the HP LaserJet Full Software and Drivers ar
  used by the Firmware Updater utility.
• Use the same connection method, USB, networked, or wireless
  that you use to print with.

Here are the steps to follow:

1. Download the firmware update utility file to your desktop
   Double click on the file.
2. Click the Update button.
3. Select the printer you want to update from the list.
4. Click the Update button in the dialog window
   Follow the on-screen instructions to continue with th
   upgrade.
5. Do NOT power cycle the printer or the P
   during this process or the printer may become unstable and/­o
   unusable without further attention from HP. The firmware update ca
   take several minutes to complete. Please be patient.
6. To verify the update, a configuration page can be printed. Th
   configuration page will display the current firmware revision i
   the product information section.

Note: If the firmware is already up-to-date, the firmware wil
not altered. Otherwise, the utility will display a dialog box a
the conclusion of the successful device update.
