operating systems. In the absence of GPS hardware or where a GP
signal is not available, this service collects information abou
access points that are present at your location, in order t
compare them against an Internet-based database and approximat
your geographic location. If GPS hardware is present and enabled
and a GPS signal is available, the service determines th
geographic location from the GPS hardware instead of access-poin
information
